Day 30 – Happy birthday

Woohoo I’m 30! Oh boohoo I’m 30!

Well a lot of THINGS got done yesterday, which was good, but today needs to be the one that brings it all back in.

My t-shirt is sat at the post office to be collected which is good.

My beard has now lasted 30 days so that can be crossed off. Unless I accidently shave my face it’s done.

Sadly… ballooning was cancelled

The tickets were booked, we were all set to go, then last night got a call saying the weather looked bad so it was off and we could go another day. No amount of pleading could change it and no other balloons are going today either (something to do with knots, wind and clouds). But as it’s booked people are telling me a moral victory counts!

Lets see how the rest of the day goes.

Another THING – I got published!

It’s lame and didn’t work as planned, but I have something in a newspaper, printed! Back up publishing plan will still happen, but more about that tomorrow.

Old McDonanald played on the guitar – result! And my hand hurts…

So what happened to the end of yesterday…

I managed to go the full week and not bite my nails.  Now to keep that up…

I also went for my Michelin Star meal at an Indian restaurant called Rasoi in Chelsea.  The meal was ok but all very pretentious.  Apparently the reason it’s called seafood biryani is because it has seafood in and the lamb biryani is called that because… it has lamb in! I learnt a thing or two there.

So thats 29 things, where’s number 30? I failed

I can’t juggle 3 balls.  I can do 2 fairly easily now and can even introduce a third in (harder than it sounds) but I can’t juggle 3 balls.

So the thirty days are over and I got to 29.66 THINGS done.  It was a good attempt (I think) with a few things going wrong along the way.  I also learnt some good lessons about getting on with things and having patience.

I know a question was; is there a punishment for not completing the 30 THINGS?

1. Surely the 30 THINGS was punishment enough – especially the cream crackers and beard

2. I am gonna have to learn the guitar and to juggle properly now I started.
